Tempat Makan Halal di Bangkok

Pada Februari lepas, saya bercuti 5 hari ke Bangkok. Our preference untuk this trip ni sudah semestinya nak shoppingggg!! :)))

Seperti biasa sebelum booking hotel, saya akan survey lokasi dulu. Yang mana dekat dengan sightseeing dan tempat makan halal (dekat Bangkok agak susah untuk dapatkan makanan halal tau). So, kena pandai cari/search. :))

Pratunam:

Platinum Fashion Mall (Food Court)

Cuisine: Thai Muslim & Indian

If you are shopping in Platinum and feeling lazy to leave the complex, you can have your meal settled in the Food Court at Level 6 where Stalls P18 (Muslim) and P20 (Indian) sells halal food.

Makyah Muslim Restaurant 

Cuisine: Thai Muslim

Makyah is on the same road as Platinum Mall and also nearby Siam Paragon so if you are around the area and need to find a halal restaurant to go to, just drop by at Makyah Restaurant.

Tom Yam Paa Nga

Maedah Restaurant

Cuisine: Middle Eastern / Indian

Maedah Restaurant is considered one of the most established halal restaurant in Pratunam. They are actually located in between Baiyoke Tower and Baiyoke Sky, outside Indra Square. Al-Sana Restaurant

Cuisine: Pakistani / Middle Eastern / Indian

Al-Sana Restaurant probably one of the oldest halal restaurant in Pratunam. They are located beside Baiyoke Sky Hotel. Some of their recommended items include Mutton Briyani, Nasi Goreng, Dhal curry, Chappti and Mutton Curry

Phetchaburi Soi 7 (Ratchathewi):

Halal Street Food

Darul Aman Mosque is a famous mosque in Bangkok. Being located at Phetchaburi Soi 7 also means that you can easily find halal food here and it is also quoted as one of the best place to experience halal street food like the locals. This place comes alive from 6pm to 10pm.

Farida Fatonee

Cuisine: Thai Muslim

Located close to Darul Aman Mosque is Farida Fatonee Restaurant. A simple and humble small restaurant serving good Thai Muslim food. The boss here speaks Thai and Malay. Some of their recommended items include Curry Chicken, Kambing Goreng and Fried Ox Tongue.

Phayathai Kitchen

One of the latest to join in the halal food scene here is Phayathai Kitchen. What I like here is the modern deco which is quite a drawing point for me. Some of their recommended items include Tom Yum Noodle Soup. They are located opposite the famous Pee Aor Tom Yum Goong Noodles.

Mak Yah is quite a popular muslim restaurant in this area. However, they also have their fair share of mixed comments too. It’s quite a big restaurant and one of their must try is Tom Yum.

zamzam cafe is modern small little cafe specialising in desserts and thai western food. Some of their recommended items include Thai Tea Ice Cream, Fried Banana and Crepe Cake. They only open from 4:30pm, so do take note!

Yana Restaurant

Cuisine: Thai Muslim / International Yana Restaurant is strategically located at MBK, on the fifth floor. Food reviews here are generally on the positive side, so you can just order whatever you feel like eating. Dining here is just simply comfortable and you can proceed for more shopping after your meal.

THE FIFTH Food Avenue

Cuisine: International

There are 2 food courts in MBK and the one which has halal food available is at The Fifth Food Avenue, on the fifth floor. There are 4 stalls offering halal food and one of the most recommended is Indonesian food from Jimbaran Bali. You can also have a Free Thai Milk Tea when you show your passport at the food court.

Ramkamhaeng:

Sophia Restaurant

Cuisine: Thai Muslim

Sophia Restaurant is not exactly convenient to go but you have to take a taxi here and many say that it’s worth the ride here. Sophia Restaurant is also very popular for weddings and events, so it’s better to give them a call before heading down.

Sinthorn Steak House

Sinthorn Steak House is the largest muslim restaurant in Bangkok and they have 2 sections. The indoor section opens from 11am and serves ala-carte international items. The outdoor section seems to be more popular and they serve halal Mookata buffet at about 200 baht per pax from 6pm.

Halal Street Food @ Ramkamhaeng Soi 24

At Ramkhamhaeng Soi 24, in front of Rajamangla National Stadium, you can find another halal street food which starts from about 6pm. Map

Deen Halal Thai Restaurant

Cuisine: Thai Muslim

A small restaurant situated next to Silom Soi 15 serving up delicious Thai Muslim food! It’s also accessible via BTS Chong Nonsi. Some of their recommended dishes include Tom Yum, Masaman Chicken Curry and Chicken Fried Rice.

Nadimos Lebanese Restaurant

Nadimos is known as the best Lebanese Restaurant in Bangkok, serving very good Lebanese food. If you want to try a different cuisine which is not easily found in this part of the world, time to head over to Silom Soi 19, Sukhumvit Soi 24 or the latest branch at Amari Watergate Pratunam for some good lebanese food by Nadimos.

Usman Thai Muslim Food

Cuisine: Thai Muslim

Usman is a popular halal thai food eatery in Sukhumvit Soi 22, next to Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel. Some of their recommended dishes include Tom Yum, Green Curry, Curry Crab and Fried Rice. The boss here is also able to converse in Malay. And one last thing, they have WIFI here!

Al-Hussain Restaurant

Al-Hussain Restaurant is located at Sukhumvit Soi 3, at Nana area. This area is also known as Soi Arab where there are many middle eastern restaurants which are halal. Al-Hussain easily stands out from the rest. Some of the recommended items include Naan, Lamb Curry and Mutton Briyani.

Rasa Khas Indonesian Restaurant

Cuisine: Indonesian

It’s not very easy to find Indonesian Food in Bangkok but Rasa Khas which opened in 2013 have managed to make a name for themselves with delicious authentic Indonesian food. Some of the recommended items include Sate Ayam (Chicken Satay), Ayam Bumbu Bali (Grilled Chicken), Nasi Ayam Pandang (Chicken Yellow Curry) and Nasi Pecel Lele (Fried Cat Fish). Lat Yao Chatuchak:

Yusup Pochana

Cuisine: Thai Muslim

Yusup Pochana is known as one of the best halal thai food in Bangkok. Some of the recommended items include Fish Roti, Briyani, Curry Noodles, Beef Soup, Chicken Yellow Curry. Easiest way to come here is via taxi. The nearest BTS is Mo Chit but you still have to transfer to a taxi. My suggestion is to call the restaurant and get them to guide the taxi driver.
